I'm sure it's to force the person to pay up. Most people don't want to be outted, so the threat on this board is often enough.
However, if there is someone in our midst who is doing this to a known program owner like DG, I think there IS some obligation to let fellow webmasters know who to watch out for.
I'm sure DatingGold would feel just dandy if this guy were to rip off 10 more people here in the coming months.
