Sorry to hear that.... the cops in my area are so uptight I got a ticket for leaving my car running and standing more than 5 feet from it. (Mind you, this was after the hurricane tore through here leaving no power/water/sewage for most citizens for 6 weeks, so ppl were running non working stop lights (major ones) , and apparently, me sitting outside my car was a problem?
There are great cops, (Friends with many in my community) but some are on huge power trips, but the judge laughed it out of court.... no harm done.
In the state of FL, you can get tickets to disappear by going to traffic school or by paying an attorney 50 bucks, are other states like that?
