But the key question [and a yes answer to this will get me to go to the next convention post haste] have people actually gotten "inside" info on how to increase conversions or paysite designs/text combos or traffic sources that result in INCREASED INCOME?
I see your point re meeting someone and getting a higher % partnership cut or per sign up boost but this is secondary to the key Question I devote every waking second to--finding new traffic sources and conversion methods to make more money. I mean, an increase in payouts is nice but if I don't have traffic or its a low level traffic these don't help me too much.

If you push affiliate programs sometimes it can get you a higher payout or revshare % just by being friends with the people that run the program. There is no nudity allowed on the convention floor.
