I'm glad you came back. Hate to see just one side of the argument. Why did you wait so long to shed additional light on this?
I will now withhold judgement until I have more of the facts. As a (part-time) programmer, I can understand the differences that arise with a myriad of configs and end-user skill levels out there. That's why I waited so long to jump on the Perl wagon (and now everyone says I should go to PHP).
