Jesus, Labret...that is freaky!

Okay, here's another one of my stories about that house.

We had just put the deposit on the house and were going over there to start taking boxes and small stuff -- we'd been over the day before to measure the windows for curtains and stuff like that. (And we'd already been told by several people in the neighborhood, including our landlord, that the place was haunted.) We walked in and immediately noticed that there was a small smear of blue paint way down by the floor on one wall, a can of spray paint lying on the floor, and that the french doors leading to the side yard were standing open.

The paint was spray paint, and the spot, as I said, was way down near the floor at the edge of one wall...in fact, it looked like someone had started to spray-paint graffti. I could almost picture it -- some shit-ass teenager, stooped down and just getting ready to start his tagger's masterpiece.

But it looked like the tagger had stopped, and I could further picture him getting scared out of his mind, dropping his can, and running like hell out of the french doors and jumping the fence.

But what scared him? To this day, I wonder what the HELL whoever that person was saw that scared them into leaving without vandalizing the place...
