Can someone explain this?

I went to the little market by my place today and bought some eggs. Some woman brings them in and sells them fresh to the market so they are truly from the farm, this woman isn't running a huge operation that is for sure. These eggs are huge, twice the size of any eggs I have seen before. I boiled four of them tonight to eat and when I was taking out the yolk, each one of them had two yolks inside. Is this normal for range chickens to lay eggs with two yolks? Someone please explain this to me please.
