I'm two blocks away from the stadium, the weather is terrible, and scalpers are selling tickets for $800 each.

Honestly I can't get excited about an industry where the behavior of the players is typically infantile, always complaining about money and stiking. Players are traded to teams all the time. I don't know how many players in the industry actually playing for where they grew up but I'm sure they are few and far between.

As for those professionals I've met, they are anything but professional. They are arrogant and not very bright, hence their chosen vocation. The only thing worse are the ones that are retired and feel they've been cheated because they squandered their salaries on cars and whatever. Now they are working at car dealerships thinking their past fame will help them sell cars.

If you are a sports fan then no offense, just my opinion.

Well, as for me, back to selling porn.
