Ok, I have been now playing for awhile on the MacBook Pro.. Still love it.
SO I was working with Aperture, so far here are my thoughts...
Seems fucking sweet.
OK, So I can organize all my content in it, thats nice. But I can also do all the standard batch stuff in it, renaming etc... Nothing new there, BUT what I really like it that I can export all my images, sized AND WATERMARKED and renamed all in one simple step. For that alone it's worth the price. I have fucked with good watermarking for a long time, trying to use CS2 and other programs. This actually does it and does it right the first time. Sweet
Now, normally I shoot raw... But during my last shoot I shot Jpg High on my D2x, And sure enough on of the sets white balance was a little off... Normally if your shooting jpg, this could be a real issue. But I used Bibble Pro, another program that I am totally astounded with, and simply selected all images, then used the white balance control to point to an area of my first picture that should have been white and BLAM all images corrected (about 500 of them) Simple sweet and perfect. You have to love some of the tools availiable to us lay people.... No pun intended.
