I saw that report as well. Apparently, the man has a long history in law enforcement. Public speaking can be dicey for most people---you can be very articulate in private but when you have cameras flashing and videocams pointed at you and reporters bleating out questions, I'm sure it could trip up people. I like Chief Moose, he doesn't exude the usual cop bravado and machismo--he seems fatherly and a very approachable, real, person.
