for the most part..

I come looking for decent traffic trades & get squat,,
I come looking for hardlinks & get responded with the same "Joes got the biggest toplist" for the ten gazillionith time,,
I come to sell domain get 0 offers til I posted on another forum
I come to sell pr4 text links & sell only one out of 20 spots

but then also
I come to get helpful advice & many people do assist, so to answer your question,,, it still serves a purpose because in the pile of trash there are still some buried treasures to be found.
