Hezbollah is a democracy? And the Hezbollah Congress voted to allow their armed forces an expedition in to Israeli territory, during which they kidnapped two soliders?
Look, I don't "support" either side in this sort of thing, but lets be honest here - in this particular engagement, Hezbollah were the aggressors, and they did so right at a time when Israel was already facing a serious issue in Gaza. What did they think was going to happen? The new Israeli leader has no choice but to respond with as much force as possible - and you know what, as much as I don't like civilians killed in any engagement, ever, Hezbollah DID invite this upon themselves. I place the blame for these civilian casualties on their heads.
If Hezbollah don't do the right thing and return the two kidnapped soldiers, I shudder to think of what is going to remain of Lebanon. When the Israelis talk of bombing Lebanon back twenty years, I have no doubt they are both willing and capable of doing just that.
