The Romans didn't kill Jesus. Pontius Pilatus even wanted to kill a convicted thief and murderer like Barrabas instead. But under pressure from the highest jewish priests he gave a crowd the decision whether to kill Jesus or Barrabas, a murderer. Of course, we already know who the jew crowd picked. lol
