Now my freind a short history lesson, as it seems you have some facts wrong.
Pilot didnt give a damn about any jew. He wouldnt have thought twice of hanging a radical on a tree. The trial of Jesus was in all probability dealt with on a much lower police style level. Plus there was and is no record of any rule that at passover the romans would release 1 prisoner. They were ruthless, crucifictions were their calling card saying shut the fuck up or this is you. I can also imagine if I asked you abut Mary Magdalane you would say she was a hooker. Wrong - this was added in the 2nd centry as the powers that were didnt want a woman to hold such an important part of the Jesus story. It was a political move.
