Disabled, blind, or over 62?

Some of you or those you may know who are either disabled, blind, or over 62 can qualify for a golden access lifetime pass. ( info )

This pass is valid for a lifetime.
Free access for the card holder, spouse, children, and often everyone in the vehicle to all BLM, CORPS, FWS, FS, NPS, and TVS sites that require an entrance fee.

Admits pass holder and everyone with them to those sites in non commercial private vehicles as long as they do not charge a per person rate. If they do then the card holder, spouse, and children do not pay but everyone else does.

Provides card holder with a 50% discount on federal use fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, parking, boat launching, and tours. In some cases where use fees are charged, only the pass signee will be given the 50% price reduction.

Took me about 10 minutes for me to get mine at a local Forest Service info center. Never knew they existed until a park ranger told me about it while I was paying for a parking permit. This will save me a good deal of cash in the future.
