He needs to crash. Hit total rock bottom and then maybe he'll "get it". He isn't there yet. He's still looking for excuses and pity, he has pity for himself. You can't improve yourself if you pity yourself.
This will either be his demise or his wake-up call, hopefully the latter.

I agree completely and what you told him on the other board was spot on. Some people just don't "get it" and no matter how much advice and help you try and give them, they always want to point the finger at someone else as a reason for their troubles.
Recently, for the first time in a couple of years I got the sense that Alienq was finally "getting it" and things had humbled him. Then he'll turn right around and say a few more things that lead me to believe he's his same old self. Hopefully hitting rock bottom will help him work through his issues and make him re evaluate how he treats others.
