Same principle as the Brown Recluse, it rots the tissue... they are ALL OVER here... I have about 200 in my yard right now under rocks, in between shit, yadda yadda.... 50/50 chance it will be a venemous bite if you're hit..
I've seen em as big as about 1 1/2 inches...
Ugly little critters.. cats love to play with them...

We have them all over here too-- Took a picture or two of one I found. Posted the fangs on it a awhile ago, but don't think I posted this one.

They leave big holes with those fangs
