Usually, I've found, banks make a good faith effort to try and deliver the money, even if you make spelling or say address line mistakes. So unless the swift number was bad, or the account number simply didn't exist and so on, I'd be surprised to see a wire returned.
Many banks fill out the wire form by hand, and then enter in to the system, so it's possible a mistake was made in that process?

I have had tons of wires bounce from the states. Sometimes the bank account is not set up to accept foreign wires and will bounce it back with no reason and no notice. It happens all the time.
