CR is not a problem xanx - in fact, anywhere we have corps has never been a problem. It's just a matter of complying with local laws and nobody bothers - there is no agenda. (Complying with local laws is nada - just don't do illegal stuff that is well known is illegal almost anywhere)
OK.. assuming you are in the US and a citizen and wish to remain a citizen of the US... moving to CR (or anywhere else) is not a solution. Residency will not allow an exit route to any country where you will still be a citizen. Example... by even getting residency, you are still bound by US laws and the US can, and does, make applications to courts to have their citizens pulled back for trial in the US. (There is a Marshal's flight weekly that collects US folks from all over South and Latin America to stand trial back in the US).
Apart from above... there is still an IRS filing obligation and a requirement to disclose corp or biz income wherever you may live, - else that gets more serious than just 2257. (Other countries don't have this problem).
The only real "exit route" is not be a US citizen - kinda drastic and a hassle, but is the only way to stay "clean". It's not something that needs to be done in a panic over 2257 bullshit.
