It's the upper level agendas you have to worry about. Even up to the level of the SAC (Special Agent In Charge - typically the head of a division) they stifled by the political bullshit.
Secret . . . The SAC in New Orleans has become an interior designer. He doesn't currently deal with crime, he picks out carpet and sofa coverings for the new office.
But, they just have to make their stats by busting a few of you guys now and then - typically for some bullshit deal.
