Experience speaking - the feds probably monitor this board, but not as closely as you think.
I used to write a column for the local paper. A couple of feds were regular readers of it. I just happened to find out through a conversation with another lawyer at a dinner party. They expressed "surprise" as to how some information was available.
To tell you the truth, if I had a choice between dealing with a fed and the state police, I would choose a fed. They are more intelligent and more honest. While they heavily operate off of stats, they have to answer to the AUSA (Assistant U.S. Attorney) who doesn't want to hear about bullshit cases.
BTW - The text of my previous post was changed. I never wrote "Not Even."
