Don't dismiss the fact that the government represents some of the largest corporations in America.
Just a coincidence that the largest donor to Bush's campaign fund in 2000 was Enron? I'm sure Enron didn't stand to make any gains from W in office.
Just a coincidence that Dick Cheney was CEO of Halliburton? Sure is a trip how HalliB was the #1 U.S. Army contractor in 2003 huh? That whole "iron triangle" shit is a fallacy!
Just a coincidence that Condoleza Rice had a Chevron oil tanker named after her?
Maybe the FDA (government group which is supposed to look out for public health) was protecting our interests when it decided to reduce mad cow testing by 90% recently? I know I was happy to hear the FDA prevented Creekstone Farms from buying enough mad cow testing kits to cover their whole farm! Is the FDA looking out for your best interests?
The fact is, our current government writes legislature & makes decisions based on which lobbyists contribute the most to their campaign funds.
Corporations currently control our government.
If you believe corporations are looking out for your best interests, you are a DUMB SHIT.
