I am trying to install one on my friend's PC. His PC is top-of-the-line, P4 2.4Ghz, Geforce 4, etc on Windows XP Home.
I follow the installation instructions exactly from
http://mirror2.ati.com/drivers/tvw-p...-7-6-0-1b.html (you need to install special drivers for Windows XP due to compatability issues).
The problem is I CAN get all the drivers installed (audio capture, video capture, audio crossbar, video crossbar) EXCEPT the TV Tuner.
My question: Do you have to have the cable cord actually connected to the card for you to be able to install the TV Tuner drivers?
When I installed the TV Wonder on my PC back in July, I don't remember whether or not I had the cable wire connected but the card does function correctly now and both our computers are similar.
