Most of the "big" players make contributions to many things, including the FSC, and I'm certainly not going to criticize any of them for not getting involved in this particular charity event that I've organized.

What charity events a company decides to get involved in, or not get involved in, is certainly up to their discretion.

My BoyAlley persona on here is a flamboyant one, and many companies may simply decide that it doesn't fit in with the way they with to market/brand their image. The list of reasons why some companies choose not to get involved goes on and on, and it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't care about the Free Speech Coalition.

Also, I wouldn't say "only 7k". $7,000 is a good chunk of change that's been pledged so far.

I certainly hope that more companies get involved, and that we see many more bids, but if not, I'll still be pleased with the outcome and appreciative of those that helped to make it happen.
