And the main reason we didn't get the hostages back with Carter is because Reagan-Bush were in contact with the hostage takers and worked out a deal not to release them until Ronnie stepped into office.

Economy - I have made more money in the past 6 years, than at anytime in my life. Everyone around me is thriving... Clinton was in the right place at the right time. Post-Cold War (a la Reagan/Bush), Internet Explosion, etc.
