It makes no sense considering the limited damage from structural debris + fire from the main WTC towers; buildings much closer to the main towers suffered much worse damage from debris and fire, yet they were completely fine afterwards (well, at least they stood and were in no threat whatsoever of falling... wouldn't quite call them fine). FEMA?s own report was fairly inconclusive as to why #7 fell, mainly because by the time they got to inspect the site the majority of the evidence (the structural steel) had already been removed and sold.
