punkworld, yes there is definately going to be negative actions for the children, yes it definately is something to take into serious consideration... but the problem is that not only being a porn star causes such negative actions... as was said mommy or daddy being a teacher could cause even more of an issue...
to deal with it you teach your child to defend him/herself Intelligently and swiftly... my advise is put the child through martial arts this will teach alot more than fighting, but learning to defend ones self isn't a bad thing... and when the child is old enough to comprehend and understand exactly what is going on, explain it to them...
if someone doesn't believe that they can share what they do with their family then maybe they should rethink the business they're in... if you're proud of what you do and don't care what others think, then why not do it?
when/if you have a child just remember, that as long as you teach them right and be open with them you should have a good standing relationship and this issue will not blind side them in home room when a kid says "hey my mom/dad has a porn your mom/dad was in"
