I can't believe it's true. The first newsarticle I saw was 'revenge attacks on stingrays' and it just made me laugh. Maybe it is connected somehow, but I doubt they are nutters who are seriously taking revenge on stingrays, possibly just some kids that thought it would be fun to kill something, and after Irwin stingrays popped in their heads.
