Yeah no kidding - I get several emails like that a week, and I stopped responding. Traditional businesses are often sold for 10x anual revenue. Not saying they should go for that much but I would think 2-3x anual rev. would be a good starting point for an offer on a domain name
Personally, I think the internet would be a better place if domains still cost $50 - $100 instead of $8, as it would make it much easier to start real businesses/do real things instead of having to deal with people selling them second hand. But, since you can't beat them..., I've got an arsonal of a few thousand domains, and we add new ones every week.
