I think the problem is that a lot of the classic Porsches, Ferraris, Lotuses, early Corvettes, and even Toyotas, are hampered by the fact that people 99% of the time put vintage wheels/tires on them. Can't really blame them though, as most try to keep things looking as original and authentic as possible. But if you've ever seen a 550 on modern rims/tires, it
really brings out the beauty of the lines of the car. In fact, I don't think Porsche currently has anything in its lineup that can match the aesthetic fluidity of the old 550's. Personally, my favorite Porsche is the 356
