I think the problem is that a lot of the classic Porsches, Ferraris, Lotuses, early Corvettes, and even Toyotas, are hampered by the fact that people 99% of the time put vintage wheels/tires on them. Can't really blame them though, as most try to keep things looking as original and authentic as possible. But if you've ever seen a 550 on modern rims/tires, it really brings out the beauty of the lines of the car.
