Allow me to attempt to make it simple for you.
We as a country should not try to do some legal interpretation of the Geneva Convention. Doing so gives other countries the same recourse to interprete it how they think as well. This endangers our troops.
Have you noticed every Republican who has actually served time in the military is against it, yet all of the wiggled their ass out of going or silver spooners are for it?
Remember that other case. Depends on your deffinition of "it".
P.S. Using water has been labeled as torture way back to near biblical times, can not spin a new deffinition for it.
