Well, not everyone is going to have a laptop so the admin is not searching through hundreds of laptops. Plus it wouldn't be hard to automate. Maybe he's just a cyber peeping tom and got lucky. He doesn't have to wait for them to be uploaded. He can just grab them off the harddrive. I do stuff like that on my network all the time.
