you may want to check your facts, steve cut corners when he originally filed his trademark. That's why i still own raimimiller.com even though he repeatedly claimed he owned the rights to "raimi miller" if his trademark rights were half as strong as he claimed they were he could have filed a wipo complaint and taken the domain away from me.
The fact is it is very difficult to trademark a name successfully, and in the case of a stage name there are dozens of ways you can legitimately use it without violating an unregistered trademark.
