This morning I learned that my 2 year old son, Samuel has a brain tumor. Both my wife and I are devastated. Our 7 year daughter doesn't know yet because she's at school. We really don't know what to tell her. For the last couple of weeks, our son was complaining of headaches and was vomiting a lot. We thought he had the flu. But after 3 weeks we were getting worried. We explained the situation to a doctor and he simply said it was the flu. We returned home and the symptoms didn't stop. Our son couldn't sleep at night, his headaches seemed to be terrible. Tylenols simply didn't work. We went back to the hospital and we requested more tests. He had some scanner tests and we got the results this morning, it's a glioma brain tumor. Samuel can't receive treatment because it's located near the spinal cord (in french it's tronc cerebral, I don't know if spinal cord is the correct translation). Another kid in Quebec had the same disease last year and died. Their parents begged for money because it's horribly expensive. Unfortunately, their kid died. There is an experimental treatment a the Texas children's cancer center and hematology service and the chance of survival is around 50-60%. If we do nothing, Samuel has a only couple of months to live. My dad, is a bank director. Already managed to get a 25k loan. It's going to be a start, but we're going to need more. That's why I'm gonna need your help. I would never ask a dime if it was about a job or everything else, but since it's about my kid's life, I don't care if I have to beg for donations. It might cost up to 150k. We don't know really how much. We're going in Texas in 3 weeks to meet someone from the Neuro-oncology Team.
If you want to help us, please send us your donation to our paypal account it's

My wife, Samuel and I thank you in advance and we will keep you updated about the situation. I might not be online often for the next couple of weeks.
