I have 2 sons age 7 and 2 and I could not ever handle getting this news.I don't think I could go on day to day knowing that everyday could possibly be the last one with them.I wish you the best of luck and hope he gets his treatment and gets better

Thanks again for everyone's prayers and donations. Right now I'm feeling like it's a nightmare. It's unreal. But the generosity from this board is amazing. This is really helping us a lot. My wife is also thanking everyone.

We called the texas children's cancer center and hematology service. Our children's hospital will send the scanner results and we'll know what to expect from there.

I'm going to Houston, Texas on October 20 to meet them. Anyone know a place to book cheatp flights. I rarely take the plane.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. Here in Portland we have a children's hospital called the Dornbecker Children's Hospital. A friend of mines wife is a nurse there. They are considered one of the best in the world and often help people regardless of money. You may want to contact them. I don't know that they can help with this particular illness, since you said it is really rare, but they may be able to help. Anything is worth a try.
