One could argue that if the Republicans didn't chase him through DC for 8 years and expend 1000's of FBI man hours we might not have missed this.
Financial info has been used for the last 10 years to gain info on people. It just hasn't been put under one roof before. I don't like it one bit. But it's not the end of the world as we know it.
