Today I was in the local corner shop and suddenly heard the almost forgotten sound of a modem connecting. I guess the shopkeeper was connecting to something but I was taken over my memories of shoving a pencil down the sound hole in my modem so my parents couldn't hear it dialing. Ahhh, 16 and addicted to a BBS.
