what does insulin have to do with dietary fat intake and "digesting fat"?
insulin resistance is the product of continually spiking insulin by eating obscene amounts of sugars and simple starches. your body responds less and less to those spikes which diminishes your bodys ability to convert sugars to glucose for energy and result in more sugars being stored as fat and higher blood glucose levels.
almost anyone that is significantly overweight and obese has insulin issues and its that cycle that ultimately leads to higher blood glucose levels and full blown diabetes.
do you know why doctors prescribe pills like Xenical? its not because they want to support the pharmaceutical industry and watch their patients self destruct with useless medications with more risks than benefits. IT's BECAUSE 99.99% of people wont follow simple advice on diet and exercise to get their life back under control.
Do you know what Xenical is? how it works? It seems that you have no clue at all which again, helps to highlight the problem of how you ended up where you are. its a drug that simply binds to fats not allowing them to be digested. So basically, you are taking a pill to do what you don't have the willpower to do yourself and your doctor is prescribing it to you for that EXACT reason.

I just told you above how xenical works by preventing 30 percent of the fat I eat from being digested. Hence, there is less fat for my body to deal with on a daily basis. I am not lazy and as stated above (again) I eat less than 40g a fat a day and exercise pretty much everyday. I have never in my life taken in huge amounts of sugars, etc. Largely because diabetes is in my family (many of whom are thin) so we ate to fit those lifestyles. I have never been told I am a diabetic but insulin resistance is obviously closely related. You are of course an expert on pcos and know that pcos causes the insulin resistence.
I won't argue that a lot of people that are put on xenical think it is an easy fix and that is why so many of them have side effects that i haven't had. They assume they can just eat whatever and take a magic pill. For those people it won't work. Just like people that get their stomach stapled and then head to the buffet. However, how is it not willpower to watch strictly what you eat and exercise?
I also don't think I ever blamed anyone for my weight. I simply said I had to figure out how my body worked before I could really start moving in the right direction.
You and others in these kinds of thread just wish to bash. You aren't here to applaud anyone (not that I asked for it, I didn't) but would find fault in anything I said. I am sure it that makes for a happy life.
