People say that about every facit of life. Business, education, success, health, sports, and the list goes on and on. Why would you let another persons excuses for failure bother you?
It sounds like you're pissed at yourself more than anything. Instead of busting your ass and doing things you don't want to do only to fall back again in 6 months to a year, why don't you just pick a moderate lifestyle change that you can live with that accomplishes some of your goals and makes you happy?
