I eat plain oatmeal now and I agree. It is yummy.

What's disturbing is what I'm reading about the generation coming up.

They may be the first generation who will not live longer than their parents and what they eat is a mighty influence.

Between the sugar and the trans fats, our kids are dying sooner than we are.

That's pretty wild stuff.

My child did not eat junk growing up. If he didn't like what was put in front of him, he was offered one alternative, just as healthy. If that did not suit him, he did not eat. And, THAT was the choice he was given.

I know it's hard getting kids to eat. Standing firm in the short term will have greater benefits long term.
