I am a webmaster and unlike those surfer idiots i can send joins and traffic but you know what, i totally avoid those contests threads and usually the sponsor as well.

well, you're making some sense, but.... not much
because you say you're not going to waste time and power post in a contest so that you make post no 300 and win $50. Fair point.
But at the same time you suggest that contests shuld include webmaster prizes.... so would you power-post in a contest thread only to win a stupid submit pass ( probably worth also $50 or so )
