we just had the roof beams treated - f'kin insect infestation. 3000 euros to inject this shit under pressure then spray everwhere. 6 hours work for 2 blokes. Bloody thieves.
Our house is 180 years old, and I've done everything myself - renovated throughout, 40m2 loft conversion, electricity, plumbing redone throughout, , but when it comes to specialist stuff, I prefer to pay the pros. Even if they are rip off merchants.
