Joe Rogan is a good announcer in my opinion, but he is only exlplaining because too many UFC fans still don't know what the hell is going on. He's educating them on the sport much like Anthony does here. As for the Kickboxing ring, I think it's great, more emphasis is placed on the fighters skill, not who can jam thier opponent into the cage. In Pride if you go to far out of the ring they bring you back to the center and restart in the same position so you can't just roll out.
Both have thier advantages but that's why I like watching both, the fighters have to use different strategies in either case.

He would make a graceful transition. Dana White is a genious and should make it happen. That would be one hell of a pay per view. While your at it groom Fedor for a UFC fight and make a monster amount of $.
Silva is not the same fighter that he was before, that's for sure. I wouldn't bet against him, though Chuck does have the skill to beat him, it could go either way. As for Crocop and Fedor, well I believe if they showed up that first off Dana would have to be less of a tightwad and pay them what they are worth,

Notes: Rich Franklin earned just US$21,000 for his failed middleweight title defence Saturday, according to purse information released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Franklin missed out on a $21,000 win bonus. Successful Brazilian challenger Anderson Silva collected $50,000 for his night's work.
How long was Rich thier Champion in what many call the deepest division in the UFC? Link To Franklins Pay

According to Nevada Athletic Commission records, his base purse for tonight's bout is $100,000, though his payday could near $1 million when bonuses and pay-per-view revenues are included.
Hmmm sounds more like a Champions wage if you ask me. Fedors Purse
It's not like they can't afford it, no wonder all the best fighters are going to Pride. And if they did ever fight there, I'm sorry to say that Tim Sylvia the current champion couldn't hang at that level.
As for the announcers, if the UFC gets it's head out of it's ass and want's to start getting these fights together then let Rogan and Trigg commentate together.
