If you are on the road and your laptop dies, a guy will be on your hotel door next day with a part in hand to replace whatever is broken (a.k.a. no sending the laptop in for repairs!!!). Plus the warranty covers accidental drops and spills. It's expensive, but worth it if your entire business is on the laptop and you are a Road Warrior.
