Wow. Not sure how I missed your charity sig auction for the JDRF!
My little brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at age 4 after suffering an attack of acute ketone acidosis. He nearly died.
He is now 9 year old.
He's very lucky to have such incredible parents that have done an amazing job managing his care. In fact, since his diagnosis, he has not had to go to the emergency room a single time.
Type 1 is an incredibly serious condition, and literally missing or miscalculating 1 injection can mean the difference between life and death. A cure needs to be found.
My parents put on a fund raiser for the JDRF every year, and it's one of the causes that my partner and I personally donate to each year as well.
Hats off to Lenny for raising the money.
And to WEGCash, I don't know what to say other than time and time again your company steps up to the plate to help contribute to the good fight.
Your company certainly has a much deserved good name for itself, and I'm heartened to see caring and compassion being used as a responsible marketing strategy by an adult company, instead of the hate tactics used by so many others.

To everyone else: Elections are being held this Tuesday in the United States. I can't tell you how important it is, or how big of a difference you can make, by voting for a candidate that supports federal funding for stem cell research. It is a very promising line of research that holds the best chance of a cure for children like my brother, and so many others like him suffering from this and other serious conditions.
