I set it up that way after I got a Turtle Beach Motego DDL sound card. Fuck Creative. With DDL it will make ANYTHING I listen to into Dolby Digital 5.1. Music, games, movies etc..

It also lets the home theater receiver do the dolby digital 5.1 encoding so it's done properly.
