I have to agree with metaman , people from montreal arent canadian ( some of them arent even human ) so the question is flawed :winkwink
But all kidding aside i think the reason you prob notice it more is because quebecers tend to be a bit more "outwardly" loyal to their province than other canadians..
Like if you asked the average canadian on a world forum "where are you from " i bet many quebecers would say "quebec" whereas other canadians would say "canada" and not specify a province..
Much like a person from oregan might say "usa" whereas a person from texas would be more likely to say "texas" i bet.
