I've used godaddy and they really suck big time imho.

http://www.namecheap.com & love them. No up sells, no spam , fast dns change + 1'st year who is protection is free & you can pay with paypal too if you want to.
The only time I've heard from them is when my who is subscription was going to expire once in 30 days.
They also have fast transfer if your selling a domain name & if your buyer want it even faster they can create a free account & you can push it him/her the same day & they can transfer it to where ever
