No kidding, so props to Pheonix Forum, Summer Internext and Cybernet Expo for getting the ENTIRE HOTEL for our events... that's the way to do it. I remember one year actually being paired up with a religious convention at the same time (and the same hotel) as a porn show. Elevator trips were interesting. People from the Jesus camp were standing as far on the other side of the elevator from us as possible...
But seriously, I was trying to stay as far away from THEM as possible... those people freak me out! It worked out okay, no major confrontations, but seriously... I agree that mixing our industry with the general public is asking for trouble.
