Depends on the host node. in theory the machine can hold as much as ram / memory per vps.

as long as your host doesn't overload it and keeps realistic resources per vps. you could indeed put 20 people on 256mb ram each on a 10gb ram dual dual core box.

Are you using more resources and black holeing your vps? I'm assuming this is Virtuozzo or that crap openVz thats free.

icq me we do vps's past up your bean counter too. would help tell what your using and or if they dont' have it configured right.
